Merry Christmas to you all!

From the production of "Mame"

Good Gravy! I've been busy! As a result. . . not much time to post here nor anywhere else for that matter. I've been helping in a theater musical production of "Mame" lots of fun and work. I painted backdrops of New York skyline, four Picasso's, four master's works and four Pollacks, a trompe loi plantation door, marbled columns, painted a dragon and after that helped in the backstage crew moving things for scene changes. Man do I have an appreciation for those who work in theater! There is so much that goes on behind the scenes!!!

The good news; It's done and the show was touted as the best in 20 yrs, we had sell outs and standing people for several of the shows. The best part is that we gave to others to enjoy a few laughs, watch some incredibly talented actors and actresses, listen to an incredibly talented band and vocalists, all of whom worked on a voluntary basis. Wow! A real community! This just makes my heart sing!!!
